Job Description

Van Land is seeking to hire a videographer/film editor in a freelance role to produce a weekly video for our YouTube channel plus various Shorts and other video content for social media. This is an ongoing position that will take 5-10 hours per week on average for filming and editing. Occasional larger projects will also be offered throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality video footage using professional camera equipment.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product, ensuring seamless transitions and a visually appealing final product.
• Collaborate with clients or creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet their vision and objectives.
• Utilize video editing software to enhance video quality and add special effects or motion graphics.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the overall video experience.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for project completion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video production skills.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a videographer/editor or similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Strong knowledge of video editing techniques, color correction, and post-production processes.
• Familiarity with various camera equipment and accessories.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and creative teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
