Job Description:

The UI/UX Specialist will gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with the project team and/or product manager to be able to illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, etc. He/she will be using modern design software and wireframing tools to be able to create low to high fidelity mockups or prototypes for both web and mobile applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other designers, project team, customers, product managers, and other stakeholders to find solutions that improve user experience and app design.
• Create prototypes and perform usability testing to guide each iteration of the design and development.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, etc.
• Present design concepts that meet business and/or client requirements.
• Articulate design decisions and insights to stakeholders and co-workers through story telling.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, etc.).
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
• Ensures overall quality of the products/projects delivered through UI/UX activities.
• Drive continuous improvements of the system development practice and processes.
• Work closely with development team to provide functional annotations and explanations of designs to key end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a UI/UX Specialist or similar role.
• Proficient in using modern design software and wireframing tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience in creating low to high fidelity mockups or prototypes.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application design best practices.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to present design concepts and articulate design decisions.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience in conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback into design iterations
