Job Description

GK Signs creates signage for a range of diverse UK businesses, providing a national reach with a local feel. We offer cost effective and eye-catching solutions and collaborate with clients to deliver signage with precision and speed. Our services include design, production, and installation. We work with both large organizations such as Royal Mail, Amazon EU, and smaller companies in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow briefs from Project Manager ensuring attention to detail
• Create high-quality artwork proofs in a timely manner
• Amend designs after feedback
• Create products and upload to an online web portal
• Create pre-press artwork with attention to detail of exact to scale sizing, colors, bleed, and correct format
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are on-brand

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have working knowledge of design applications including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Proven graphic design and artworking experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations, artworking, or other graphics
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Previous knowledge of Pre press artworking and sign making desired
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Website design experience including customer portals desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus

What We Offer

The chance to work for a young, fast-paced national signage company, working with some of the UK’s biggest brands. Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm hours. Office based in Exeter with free onsite parking. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Fixed term contract with a salary range of £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year. Company pension offered.
