Job Description

Working with the marketing director and contributing ideas to set the marketing strategy and associated campaigns. Executing marketing campaigns. Writing and delivering content and social media plans. Monitoring social media accounts and responding to messages. Assisting in the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures. Writing text for marketing collateral and websites. Attendance at events such as festivals. Tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the directors. Compiling and reporting information such as website and social media analytics.

Requirements

• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
• Adaptability and multitasking
• Able to work to deadlines
• Creative skills, including writing, photography, design, and video/image editing
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• IT skills, including using spreadsheets to analyze data and creative software to design visual content
• Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing, and search engines

Other Information

• Initially around 2 full days (16 hours) a week, with potential for more hours as the business grows
• Flexible working hours, including weekends
• Transportation preferred but not required
