Job Description

I’m looking for an editor to edit long-form (10-20 min) YouTube videos. The videos are primarily DIY/process videos as well as talking head commentaries, product reviews, and other similar style of videos. This is a freelance job that would be working on an as-needed basis with the opportunity to grow into a consistent weekly gig. Pay is $100-$200 per video.

• Utilize YouTube retention editing techniques, such as cuts, transitions, and effects, to optimize for watch time and audience retention
• Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics into videos
• Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet the required specifications

Requirements

• Proficient in video editing software (preferably Davinci Resolve)
• Strong collaborative communication
• Experience in photo editing and graphic design a plus
• Open to all experience levels – just show me your work!
• Ideally, you are interested in the channel’s topic/content
