Job Description:

The 3D Designer oversees the development of environmental design and materials. They are responsible for creating and executing 3D concepts based on established requirements using 3D Max and Corona Renderer within the 3D Max program. The designs may integrate environmental sketches, floor plans, elevations, and 3-Dimensional renderings. This is a freelance role that can work between 20 to 40 hours per week depending on project workload.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the environmental or industrial design, layout, and formatting of materials
• Provides direction for freelancers and production artists on projects
• Creates innovative environmental and spatial solutions
• Responsible for preparing various presentation materials
• Must work closely and collaboratively with design team to strategically implement strong environmental concepts
• Strong design skills along with verbal, written, and analytical skills are critical for effectively presenting to clients
• Punctuality and regular attendance are required on the job

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college, University or design school in Environmental or industrial Design, Engineering, or Architecture
• Experience: 5 years experience preferred
• Special Skills/Qualifications: Proficiency in 3D Max and Corona Renderer and other related based computer design programs. Prior retail design or point-of-purchase experience preferred
