Job Description
- Edit videos to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Benefits: Flexible schedule
Schedule: 4 hour shift, Choose your own hours, Day shift
Ability to Relocate: Henderson, NV 89074 (Relocate before starting work required)
