Job Description

Idea Theorem™ is looking for a Senior UI UX Designer to create simple and usable experiences for millions of Canadians. As part of the team, you will be working on creating user experiences that drive revenue and customer retention. Responsibilities include creating strategy, research, design, and technical innovation, as well as playing a pivotal role in building empathy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional scaled design experience
• Ability to conduct primary and secondary user research
• Experience in conducting and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research, including interviews with research participants
• Planning and implementing user research strategies and methodologies
• Advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
• Performing usability tests with consumers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Up-to-date with the latest modern design thinking practices, artifacts, and principles
• Expert practical knowledge of User-Centered Design principles
• Solid foundation in typography, layout, and design
• Deep understanding of design patterns and willingness to adapt based on data
• Track record of shipping customer experiences with elegant and simple UX/UI that deliver business results
• Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, creative and strategic mindset, and focus on continuous improvement
