Job Description:

Brass Token, a boutique game development studio in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join their team. The studio specializes in creating original third-person story-driven action games and engaging in AAA co-development projects. Led by proven AAA veterans, Brass Token aims to be a premiere developer of story-driven action games, fostering a relaxed yet driven team culture that values innovation and honesty.

Requirements:

• Must have shipped at least one successful AAA videogame or equivalent real-time media project in a leadership role.
• Expert experience with Maya and Photoshop.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for collaborating with others both remotely and in person.
• A strong sense of initiative to work and lead in a remote setting.

Pluses:

• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
• Experience with Substance Painter, Quixel Megscans, and Marvelous Designer is an asset.
• An understanding of Maya scripts and tools.
• Strong illustration and storyboard abilities.
