Job Description

Verndale is seeking an Experience Design Lead to enhance the dynamic experience design practice. This role focuses on UX strategy, incorporating visual design elements for exceptional digital experiences. The ideal candidate blends user-centric design principles with visually captivating interfaces, driving innovation and enhancing user interactions across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with clients
• Translate business requirements into prototypes
• Conduct end-user research (surveys, interviews, testing)
• Develop experience design systems for multi-device platforms
• Communicate ideas effectively to clients and internal teams
• Maintain knowledge of user design trends
• Develop and maintain design libraries and UX pattern libraries
• Collaborate with project and experience design teams
• Act as a resource and thought partner to colleagues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in responsive and mobile web design
• Proficiency in various design tools (Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Experience with prototyping tools (Axure, Figma, InVision, Adobe XD)
• Ability to handle feedback and work on multiple projects efficiently
• Online portfolio of work required
