Job Description

The Digital Content Specialist will help maintain the automaker’s corporate intranet and dealer communications platform. Responsibilities include administering daily content requests, proofreading internal communications, updating content logs, monitoring usage metrics, and proactively sourcing content for internal distribution.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint. Knowledge of HTML, Markdown, JavaScript, and Adobe Professional. Experience in content management tools and Google Analytics. Strong project management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and willingness to learn new technology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Critical thinking, judgment, and ability to work independently or in teams.

Education / Experience

Requires an Associate degree in Communications, Multimedia, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in communications, web content management, or a related area. SharePoint certifications or related training preferred.

Other Information

  • Will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and publish content, ensure compliance, and enhance digital communications channels.
  • Technical expertise, communication/editing, and project management skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience in administering and developing solutions for SharePoint is crucial.
  • The role involves monitoring multiple inboxes, responding to requests, and providing monthly activity reports.
  • Monitoring usage metrics and analytics to assess performance and increase company adoption is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines and application to online content is required.
  • Occasional support for web-related projects and committees is also expected.
  • Ability to conduct content audits as part of continuous quality control framework.
