Job Description:

Our client, a boutique e-commerce design shop, is seeking a Shopify Sr. Developer to join their tech team. The ideal candidate will work remotely and have a strong grasp of SDLC processes, Shopify best practices, and the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team throughout development and solutions. The hourly rate for this position is $50-65.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically assess business requirements and UX/UI for tasks aligning with technical best practices and project goals.
• Support project leads through various delivery efforts including discovery, estimation, technical planning, and agile/sprint cycles.
• Aid contributing developers within project teams through peer programming, estimation, and code reviews.
• Keep updated on industry trends and integrate best practices into the e-commerce strategy.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Shopify Plus Development Experience
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify themes, apps, and custom integrations
• Experience in forming technical approaches documentation
• Proficiency with version control systems, testing, and deployment processes
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
• Exposure to web-based architecture and modern frameworks like Liquid, Web Components, and React (vue.js is a plus)
• Adept with Shopify API’s, data models, and content management
• Familiarity or hands-on experience with common e-commerce integrations/solutions
• Back-end experience with Node, Ruby On Rails, or PHP is a plus
• Project & team lead experience is beneficial
