Job Description

Pixel Parlor, a woman-owned design studio and Certified B Corp, is seeking a UX Designer for a 4-month freelance engagement to support the UX team while the Senior UX Designer is on maternity leave. The role involves providing design services for various projects such as websites, applications, digital design, and social media for clients including performing arts organizations, not-for-profits, and businesses of all sizes. The position requires a passion for design, collaboration, effective communication, and the ability to deliver high-quality products to clients and end-users.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in design for UX, Web, and Digital. They should possess a strong portfolio showcasing versatility in design, confidence in participating in critiques and client meetings, proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, XD, Miro, Google Sheets, and various CMS platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, and Webflow. Additionally, experience in branding and print design is a plus.
