Job Description

We’re currently looking for a talented individual skilled in Adobe post-production, with a keen sense of storytelling. The role involves working on both short-form and long-form content, and we need someone who can join us at our downtown office three days a week to collaborate closely with our team. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of meeting deadlines. Additional experience in color correction and animation would be a significant plus. While the primary focus is on post-production, a passion for production and the ability to occasionally assist on set would be beneficial.

We’re offering this position on a freelance basis initially, with great potential for more regular work if it’s a good fit. Compensation ranges per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with long-format video production
• Collaborate closely with the team to understand project objectives and deliver compelling video content that meets client requirements.
• Pay close attention, manage and organize video files, maintain an efficient workflow, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in a related field (or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program)
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• A strong portfolio
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Solid knowledge of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency throughout projects

Nice to Have:

• Agency experience
• Experience with camera operation, cinematography, lighting, and audio recording
