Job Description

Fast Train Media is seeking a part-time editor to work on London Cheapo and Hong Kong Cheapo websites, two days per week. This position is for three months initially, with potential for extension and expansion. The starting rate is approximately 1200 GBP per month. Applications are accepted only from candidates based in London or Hong Kong, preferably with strong knowledge of both cities.

Responsibilities:

- Edit and prepare articles for publication

- Collaborate with the editorial team for content recommendations

- Implement SEO best practices for content improvement

- Occasionally write short pieces

Requirements

- Self-motivated and organized

- 2-3 years of similar role experience

- Familiarity with SEO best practices

- Strong editing and writing skills

- Detail-oriented

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects

- Previous residence in London and/or Hong Kong

Advantageous

- Copywriting experience

- Knowledge of affiliate integration and content development

- Familiarity with task management tools and team communication platforms like Asana and Slack

- Basic HTML knowledge

- Understanding of life in London and Hong Kong
