Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Ontario Government Client. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience with FIGMA and 5+ years of experience in UX research and testing. This role involves leading user experience design research, synthesizing findings into actionable insights, facilitating design thinking workshops, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with FIGMA
• 5+ years of experience with UX research and UX Testing

User Experience / Product Design

• Facilitate user experience design research through various methods, including user interviews, diary studies, usability testing, tracking usability metrics, A/B testing, and card sorting.
• Synthesize research findings into insightful documents such as user journey maps, personas, service blueprints, and affinity maps.
• Lead design thinking workshops and activities to ideate solutions for complex design problems.
• Provide high-level documentation of both front-end user experiences and back-end infrastructure.
• Lead design ideation and deliverables, including service design blueprints, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Deliver functional, accessible, and aesthetically-pleasing user interfaces.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, and Development teams to facilitate design vision and concept.
• Practice ego-free design and be open to feedback.
• Utilize pragmatic, thoughtful design approaches based on organizational needs.

Agile Product Development

• Experience in agile, sprint-based development environments.
• Understand and work with iterative product development cycles (Discovery, Agile, Beta, Live).
• Collaborate with multiple designers on complex product deliveries.
• Conceptualize design tasks as part of the greater product development team.

Experience

• Experience with medium-to-large product development/service design projects.
• Design services and products dealing with large organizational complexity.
• Lead strategy and execution on product/service discovery.
• Proficient with Figma user interface design software.
• Design interfaces using a design system.
