Job Description
As a UX Designer at Manchester Airport (Hybrid), you will focus on UX, design, and research for a key line of business, striving to create ‘The world’s most customer-centric and stress-free digital travel experience’. You will collaborate with product leaders, marketers, data analysts, engineers, and senior leadership throughout the product development lifecycle. Your role will revolve around centering user needs in decision-making, conducting research initiatives for various products, and translating quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable recommendations. You will analyze primary customer journeys to identify problems and design innovative interactions while considering technical and performance constraints.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape digital travel experiences in a forward-thinking and ambitious UX team, fostering a fail-fast development environment in partnership with the development team to deliver extraordinary user experiences.
Requirements
- Experience in planning and leading cross-discipline ideation workshops and design sprints
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams
- Proficiency in promoting design thinking and advocating for design principles and best practices
- Skills in collaborative, interdisciplinary working methods
- Driven, hardworking, and passionate about design
