Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Video Producer to join the team at Bauer Media Audio in Scotland at the home of Clyde 1 in Glasgow, the Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio Networks in Scotland. Reporting into the Digital Editor, we are looking for an experienced Video Producer with an excellent knowledge of all aspects of video production. The ideal candidate will be a strong shooter with a huge passion for post-production.

Working with a talented team, you’ll have the freedom to create and shape engaging video content across various social platforms. You must understand Bauer’s Scottish radio brands and target audiences, have a strong knowledge of entertainment and football culture, and possess a thorough understanding of the Scottish audience. The position requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to bring video concepts to life. It is an office-based role working between 12pm – 8pm (Mon – Fri) with occasional weekend work when required.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• Sound knowledge of camera, sound & lighting.
• Previous experience in editing and shooting, with an excellent understanding of all social media platforms from a video perspective.
• Sound editorial judgment with a passion for storytelling.
• Significant experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• The ability to collaborate well with others and direct presenting and guest talent.
• Strong understanding of Bauer’s Scottish brands and Scottish Football.
• Knowledge of all social platforms.
• Talent for sound design.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to focus on priorities and deliver quality results.
• Comfortable using Mac systems.
• Experience in storyboarding and scripting.
• Aware of media law and Ofcom compliance.
• Aware of Health and Safety requirements on shoots.
• General graphic and animation skills highly advantageous, including Photoshop and After Effects.
• Photography skills.
• Pro-active, committed, quick-thinking, and able to work calmly under pressure.
• A team player at every level, able to work with stakeholders to see projects through to completion.
