Job Description
My Product Path are partnered with a high-growth travel organisation to recruit a UX Designer at the Mid-Senior level to join their organisation on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role in a scaling organisation reporting into a brilliant UX Lead who has recently joined the organisation. The ideal candidate should be fast-paced and capable of managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to establish and enforce design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Plan and conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and persona development.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive user-centered design solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualisation to implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritise design requirements.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A number of years of UX Design experience within a digital organisation.
- Proven experience in creating and managing design systems.
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and experience conducting user research.
- Proficiency in design tools, namely Figma.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and user-centered design solutions.
- Experience in the travel, loyalty, e-commerce, or fintech sectors is preferred.
Additional Information
Salary: Β£50,000-60,000
Location: Manchester, with 1-2 days in the office per week.
