Job Description

PEG Music LLC is hiring a part-time Photographer/Videographer (PV) for their Nashville office location. The role involves working directly with independent musicians in the greater Nashville metropolitan area. The PV will primarily capture high-quality photos and videos during writers’ rounds, live shows, concerts, and music events in the evening. This part-time position allows for working 10-20 hours per week and includes creating social media content, sizzle reels, and music videos with musicians.

Requirements

Duties:

• Capture high-quality photos and videos in various settings, including studio and on-location shoots.
• Utilize professional equipment and techniques to ensure optimal lighting, composition, and focus.
• Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate with musicians to understand their vision and deliver photos and videos that meet their expectations.
• Manage and organize digital files, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored for easy retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in photography/videography techniques.

Skills:

• Proficient in photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and posing.
• Experience with professional photography software such as Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom), Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for capturing unique moments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with musicians and understand their needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage digital files and post-production workflow.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
