Job Description
FocusKPI is looking for a Senior UX Designer/Product Designer to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company. The team aims to create exceptional experiences that will transform the way the client supports their thousands of global team members. You will play a foundational role in developing exciting new products that support interactions between all clients, leaders, ExecOps, and people support partners.
Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Range: $80/hr to $93/hr
Responsibilities
- Be the driver and owner of the complete user experience, from early-stage research and ideation through implementation and iteration based on key success metrics.
- Work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, product managers, technical program managers, and engineers throughout all stages of the production cycle.
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications.
- Analyze customer problems to design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
- Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design.
- Conduct user testing at every stage of the design and development process.
- Determine the information architecture to optimize how users move through and interact with the client’s product.
- Experiment, test, and optimize to create delightful, frictionless, and tailored end-to-end experiences.
- Facilitate workshops with engineers and product managers to establish project scope and explore potential solutions to identified challenges.
Requirements
- 6+ years of UX/product design experience, with a focus on user-centered design.
- Experience balancing the big picture with meticulous attention to detail.
- Customer-centric thinking: deep dive into audience needs, test hypotheses, and measure outcomes.
- Collaboration is essential; you lead by example.
- Bridge between user needs, business objectives, and technical possibilities.
- Comfortable conducting and summarizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and experience with interface design.
- Orientation towards creating positive service experiences.
- Successful collaboration experience with designers, developers, product managers, and other team members.
- Portfolio to be submitted along with the resume (Mandatory).
Additional Qualifications (If You Have These Skills, Even Better)
- Experience in internal tooling for enterprises.
- Experience with Lean UX and rapid delivery.
- Interest in team-building.
- High tolerance for ambiguity.
- Strong visual craft.
- Generalist designer able to work from ideation to detailed design to collaboration with engineering on visual/functional QA.
- Experience in an enterprise environment is beneficial but not a hard requirement.
- Ability to form strong points of view on product direction and willingness to engage with partners to reach agreements
