Job Description

As a UX Designer at Razorfish, you will be a strong advocate for the customer. You are formally trained in design and passionate about customer-centric innovation. You take pride in your work, obsess over details, and insist on iterating until the design is perfected. You see feedback as an opportunity for improvement.

Your role involves transforming complex problems into elegant experiences through ideation, concept development, and experience innovation. You will create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards while collaborating closely with development teams to ensure that the design intent is fulfilled. Additionally, you will work with other UX designers, copywriters, design researchers, creative technologists, product owners, and mobile developers, advocating for the user throughout the project lifecycle.

Staying updated on current design methodologies, practices, and trends is essential, and you will participate in observational studies, usability testing, and other customer research to enhance your work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design or creating digital experiences.
• Experience prototyping in Figma.
• Experience working in agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of user-centered design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design abilities.
• Experience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology).
• Understanding of interactive design and usability principles, and how content strategy and creation contribute to user experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with financial clients, ADA compliance.

Compensation Range: $40.00-$62.00 hourly.
