Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate Temporary Part-Time Junior Graphic Designer to join our COBS Bread marketing team on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. This position will support the lead Graphic Designer on short-term projects, campaigns, local marketing initiatives, and other tasks as required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creative development of templates to support the launch of COBS Bread’s new local marketing toolkit (Canva platform).
  • Assist Graphic Designer on executing creative assets to support campaigns such as in-store print materials, digital ads, videos, and social images.
  • Coordination support on building an image/assets library for COBS Bread including gathering assets, photo editing, and file re-formatting if required.
  • Coordination support on supplying final artwork files to agency partners such as creative agency, printers, digital production studio, and photography studio.
  • Contribute to creative artwork reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Manage ad hoc creative requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of all internal digital files and folders as required.

Requirements

You bring the following to the table:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a graphic design role, preferably within the retail or hospitality industries.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite with a focus on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Canva preferred.
  • Strong layout skills and familiarity with typesetting preferred.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong coordination and organization skills in overseeing multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work well autonomously and amongst a close-knit team.

Additional Information

Wage: $25.00/hr

Hours: 30 to 37.5 hrs/week

Location: Vancouver, BC

Workplace: Onsite
