Graphic Designer is needed in Toronto, Canada.

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Contract: Part-time

Job Description

Stationery Design: • Create both semi-custom and bespoke layouts for wedding invitation suites, managing templated design requests for semi-custom invitations. • Fulfill design requests for day-of wedding stationery such as signages, place cards, menus, etc. • Handle design file revisions to ensure accuracy and meet client specifications. • Create mockups and formal design proofs for client’s review.

Printing and Production Management: • Prepare press-ready files for printing partners. • Oversee in-house printing operations. • Assemble invitation suites to ensure high-quality final products.

Marketing and Social Media Management: • Manage social media accounts, strategize content, and create engaging posts to promote the brand.

Shipping and Logistics: • Create sample packs for inquiries. • Prepare and dispatch orders for shipping, including handling errands and mailing invitations for local clients in Toronto.

Requirements

• Degree/Certificate training in Graphic Design with proficiency in illustration and layout design.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Mac OS; relevant Stationery Design experience is a plus.

• Knowledgeable about wedding etiquette and grammar practice.

• Willingness to learn the production process (comps for clients, pre-press, printing/cutting/assembly).

• Experience in file preparation for press, paper stock variations, and printing methods.

• Capable of working efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail, exceptional time management, and highly organized.

• Excellent communication skills, open to inquiries, and responsive to feedback.

• Knowledge of Squarespace and Dubsado platform is a plus.

• Understanding of letterpress printing, gold foil press, and commercial printing is a plus.

• Must be able to work at our Toronto studio up to 3 days a week, or as-needed.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary will be determined based on experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op.

Contract length: 9 months.

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week.
