Job Description
We’re Spicy Minds, a fast-paced, mission-driven startup developing solutions to improve mental health for GenZ consumers and their families, particularly those with neurodivergence. We’re seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to craft engaging mobile app experiences and marketing websites.
What you’ll do:
- Design wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
- Translate user insights into improved retention and outcomes
- Help establish market, problem, product, and language fit
- Collaborate with the founder, product manager, and engineers
Requirements
Required:
- 5+ years of UX/UI experience
- Proficient in Jira, Figma, and Squarespace
- High emotional intelligence
- Degree in Design, UX/UI, or equivalent
- Experience experimenting with Gen AI
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Right to work in UK
- DBS Background check
- At least 2 days per week in the Bristol Office with the team
Desirable:
- Lived experience with mental health challenges, neurodivergence, or close personal connection
- Experience working on a successful Gen Z app
- Conducted user research
- Understanding of user experience design for LLMs
