Job Description

KPIX is seeking a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced television news environment. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and proficiency with the Grass Valley Edius editing system is preferred. The editor must be a creative and poised team player capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility with work schedule is essential, as the candidate must be willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed. A demo reel demonstrating abilities is required, and ENG will also be a part of regular duties.

Requirements
