Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to oversee a talented team of Engineers, focusing on Back-End development and driving the technical roadmap forward. The client has launched an award-winning enterprise-scale SaaS platform that has transformed its industry within five years and is utilized by top global companies, resulting in millions of users.
The platform was built from scratch without using legacy code and incorporates a top-tier technology stack within a Microservices environment. The Engineering function has expanded significantly, and the organization aims to onboard additional Engineers to support continued growth and evolution.
The ideal candidate will be a NodeJS enthusiast with expertise in developing Microservices and possess a solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript. Familiarity with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDb or ElasticSearch) and AWS, including Cloudformation, is important. An advocate of Agile methodology, the candidate should appreciate continuous integration and deployment.
The role involves providing leadership, support, and mentorship to the back-end team, ensuring high-quality project delivery. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing and mentoring Software Engineers and helping them develop their tech skills.

Requirements
- Expertise in developing Microservices, particularly with NodeJS.
- Strong background in JavaScript; knowledge of TypeScript is ideal.

- Good understanding of AWS and familiarity with Cloudformation.
- Advocate for Agile delivery and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing, mentoring, or leading Software Engineers.
