Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Direct, shoot, and edit videos on news and happenings of the industry.
• Involve in the conceptualizing of videos from the script writing stage.
• Prepare motion graphics in some videos.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Understand concepts quickly and suggest relevant video styles and improvements.
• Work with junior video editors to ensure timely completion of rough and final cuts.
• Direct the anchor to ensure authentic movements and anchoring, sharing advice as necessary.
• Be proficient in image editing for preparing cover images for articles, social media, and websites on a daily basis.
• MUST be fluent in written and spoken English.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and After Effects (primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects).
• Alternatives to these that can get the production work done without affecting quality are acceptable.
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of motion graphics.
• Working knowledge of cinematography.
• Must be willing to work under pressure as most projects will require extremely fast turnaround and strict deadlines.
• Past experience/interest in script writing to improve video quality will be an added bonus.
• The position entails working long hours at times of outdoor events, and also encompasses travel.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
• Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

Additional Information

Benefits for freshers start from 15K per month (negotiable depending upon the candidate).

Experienced candidates (3-4 years) can expect a salary between 25K - 35K.
