Job Title: Lead UI/UX Designer

Salary: £60,000

Location: Central Manchester (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Requirements

• Experience: At least five years in UI/UX design, with proven experience leading or mentoring teams.

• Expertise in Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.

• User-Centered Approach: Strong knowledge of UX principles, including user research methodologies and usability testing.

• Visual Design Skills: A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout, typography, color, and accessibility.

• Leadership & Communication: Excellent ability to articulate your vision, drive collaboration, and inspire teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Initiatives: Define and implement the vision for UI/UX across the platform, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.

• Design Excellence: Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• User Research: Conduct usability testing, gather insights, and use data-driven approaches to refine designs and improve functionality.

• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives and user needs.

• Accessibility & Aesthetics: Elevate the platform’s visual identity with a focus on layout, typography, color schemes, and adherence to accessibility standards.
