We are seeking a 2D/3D Animator to join a new in-house team for one of our top clients. This position will allow you to immerse yourself in one of the world’s leading gaming companies while enjoying the benefits of eight&four’s agency culture. The ideal candidate will be a solid midweight 2D/3D Creative who can work independently as well as collaborate with various client stakeholders. You should excel under pressure, handle challenging situations with maturity, and effectively solve problems in both your work and within the team. Essentially, we seek a professional who is excellent at their craft and a valuable team player in an expanding team.

This role is fully remote but limited to candidates based in the UK.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in an animation studio, production company, or advertising environment.
• Art theory basics, including composition and colour theory.
• A strong portfolio showcasing great 2D & 3D animation/motion graphic executions across different channels.
• Excellent skills in the Adobe package, particularly After Effects.
• Strong storytelling and editing skills.
• A passion for and understanding of mobile games and gaming culture.
• Experience leading and motivating small teams of creatives.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring consistent style, quality, and tone in content.
• A standout creative who can adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Experience working collaboratively with creatives to motivate and inspire them.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in typography and graphic design.
• Good illustration skills.
• Social media savvy.
• Experience in producing content for user acquisition.
