Job Description

Macs Adventure is seeking a talented UX Designer to join our innovative tech team. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping exceptional user experiences for our customers. Reporting directly to Stuart Hammonds, Chief Technology Officer, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-centred interfaces that enhance our cutting-edge travel tech products.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in UX design, with commercial experience in website and e-commerce products.
• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design projects, particularly in website and e-commerce environments.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and responsive web design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience in Agile software and product development methodologies and working within a cross-functional team.

Not Essential, But It Would Be a Bonus If You Have:

• Experience in the travel or e-commerce industry.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Educated to degree level, within a relevant subject.

Salary and Location

£35,000 – £40,000 DOE, Hybrid Glasgow or Liverpool (minimum 3 days per week in the local office).
