Job Description

As a Senior Developer Technology Solutions (BTS), this role will design and develop cutting-edge, SaaS-based web and mobile applications, leveraging expertise in API-first design, React Native, and cloud computing. The Senior Developer will lead and partner with other team members to develop the next generation Fluid Intelligence platform and IoT connectivity platform for sensor-based offerings across Fluid Intelligence and R&D software platforms. This role encompasses responsibilities for developing technical solutions and ongoing operations that enable the flagship product portfolio with the best-in-class Fluid Intelligence platform and plays a key technical SME role in an agile team delivering complex projects. Key to success in this role is prioritizing user experience, anticipating technology automation needs, extensible design, testing automation, and continuous deployment, while partnering with distributed teams to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• 6+ years of progressive Digital IT and hands-on technology experience.
• 6+ years’ experience in Architecture, design, development, test strategy, and implementation of Cloud Native Mobile, Web, IoT connected products in a private / public cloud environment (Azure or AWS).
• Proven experience of 8+ years in a senior hands-on role, with a strong background in SaaS technology platforms and connected devices environment.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of application development, integration, testing, dev-ops, and cloud deployment.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Full-Stack design and development of Microservices, APIs, JSON, React Native application development (e.g., Next.js, Node.js, Express) and Cordova.
• Hands-on experience in database design, writing complex SQL queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with container management solutions like Kubernetes and expertise in configuring and scaling Docker containers.
• Expert knowledge in managing technology solutions for IoT, real-time time series data, ML/AI-driven products.
• Experience in event-driven architectures utilizing Queues, MQTT or AMQP protocols.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum setting using productivity tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Expert in managing Automated build and continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence in group settings.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure, configuring VPC, ALB in containerized application architectures leveraging Kubernetes.
• Preferred experience with Single Sign-On, SAML, JWT, IoT connectivity, and IoT Agent development.
• Desirable knowledge of Salesforce CRM, ERP integration and MDM (Customer, Product) integration.
• Exposure to industrial automation, integration with PLC, remote service management gateways, and OTA knowledge is an added advantage.
