Job Description

At Diraq, we’re revolutionizing scalable quantum computing by expanding from hundreds to billions of qubits on single chips, unlocking practical commercial applications that will reshape the world. We’re building an end-to-end quantum computing company, offering full-stack, cloud-accessible quantum hardware and software. This position calls for a highly skilled and creative graphic designer who will transform complex ideas into compelling visual stories. You will work alongside scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment where innovation is paramount.

This is initially a 3-6 month fixed term role with the possibility of extension or becoming a permanent position. You will be responsible for creating visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, enhancing our brand engagement across various platforms.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD.
• Experience with photography, image retouching, and video editing software such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Intermediate to advanced motion design, editing, and animation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into graphical displays.
• Communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences (Government, B2B, B2B2C, Investors).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout for various media.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Background or experience in deep tech, defense/critical technologies, or science/research.

Additional Requirements:

• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be an Australian citizen due to the nature of the work.
