Job Description

Our tech client is looking for a design systems expert to impact their product line of devices. This role will be 5 days onsite in South Lake Union and is a 6-month contract to start. The UX Designer will focus on driving the vision, definition, and design of multi-modal experiences across a range of smart home devices. Candidates must reside in the greater Seattle area and be authorized to work on W2. An online portfolio must show a complex design systems case study.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience as a UX Designer designing solutions for web and/or software applications.
• Online portfolio of work showcasing strong design systems experience and expertise in Figma.
• Experience presenting design work to the user experience team, product team, and executives for review and feedback.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver).
• Strong skills in interaction design, visual thinking, and Figma at an expert level.
• Self-starter who can work with stakeholders effectively.
• Able to assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by participating in usability testing and interpreting analytics data.

Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits may include:
