Job Description
At RM, we have been leaders in education technology since 1973, providing resources and technology to the education sector for over 10 million students globally. We partner with various educational institutions to improve outcomes for learners at all stages of life. We are seeking a seasoned UX Designer with end-to-end UX skills to be part of our product development lifecycle. The role necessitates conducting user research, creating intuitive interfaces, and implementing designs that balance user needs with business objectives. The UX Designer will report directly to the Lead Designer and work collaboratively across teams to support the design strategy for our digital assessment portfolio.
Requirements
The candidate must have:
- Proven experience as a UX/Product designer in cross-functional teams.
- Strong user-centric approach and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Generalist end-to-end UX skills with familiarity in recognized design processes.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools and experience contributing to design systems.
- Experience in user research, prototyping, and user testing.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting work to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to advocate for accessibility in design.
- Experience in a matrix environment and comfort with ambiguity and changes in product scope.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the UX strategy and roadmap for a core product within our Assessment portfolio.
- Conduct user research and collaborate with users to shape solutions.
- Produce design assets including user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and advocate for user experience value.
- Facilitate workshops and synchronize with offshore development teams for feedback and design validation.
