Job Description

This is a 6 month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension. This role is part of our Personalised Content team, which creates emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. You will design experiences for a large-scale eCommerce platform that sets the standards for others to follow, focusing on visual and art direction, concepting, prototyping, and production.

You will report to the Creative Director and support the strategic goals of the company through the design of digital experiences, lifestyle and technology content that deeply connect with people. You will also ensure client satisfaction, showcase strong problem-solving skills, and be involved in a range of creative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and production of large-scale digital projects for Google, including e-commerce, branding, and social.
  • Build presentations, craft documentation, and deliver asset kits to developers and team members.
  • Act as a leader and a team player, contributing to the creative execution of company efforts.
  • Bring fresh perspectives and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work with minimal processes in place, solving problems optimistically and proactively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in design and interactive work.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in design, visual arts or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, and brand development.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and design systems.
  • Advanced prototyping skills using Figma or equivalent tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Foundational knowledge of After Effects or equivalent motion tools.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation-building skills.
  • Collaborative nature and excellent organizational skills.
  • High level of problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication skills, both one-on-one and in groups.
