Job Description

Are you a Junior UX/UI Designer looking to work with a footwear company, a health and wellbeing company, and a group of innovative activists? We are searching for brilliant individuals with exceptional skills and talent to help us achieve our vision. We seek a Designer who is passionate about digital design and thrives in innovative environments. You will be the creative mind for our innovation initiatives, developing digital concepts and designs that bring new ideas to life and differentiate our brand. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for cutting-edge projects and will play a crucial role in exploring and implementing fresh ideas across digital channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design process for all innovation-focused projects, translating strategic concepts into visually compelling, user-centered digital experiences.
• Developing experimental design concepts, prototypes, and assets to support new product launches, campaigns, and interactive experiences.
• Collaborating with product and marketing teams to conceptualize designs that align with strategic objectives and resonate with target audiences.
• Brainstorming innovative digital campaign ideas, incorporating the latest design trends and technologies.
• Creating mood boards, style guides, and visual assets for new initiatives and translating broad ideas into concrete visual elements.
• Developing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and support agile iteration based on feedback.

Requirements

To apply for this role, you should have the following experience and skills:

• 3-5 years in digital design, preferably within an e-commerce, innovation lab, or creative agency environment.
• A strong interest in AI technologies to enhance customer experiences.
• A proven portfolio showcasing innovative digital projects, including web, social media, and email campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in creative concept development and designing for forward-thinking, experimental projects.
• Advanced skills in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and/or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, responsive design, and prototyping.
• Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a knack for innovative design solutions.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly.

Location and Benefits

The role offers a hybrid working environment with locations in Barley Wood (near Bristol) and our London Hub. You will mostly work from home but are required to attend in-person meetings and gatherings.
