Job Description

The Lumistella Company is a global intellectual property company dedicated to bringing Santa’s North Pole to life for children around the world through consumer products, original entertainment, and brand experiences. We are home to iconic Christmas brands including The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and Elf… Mates.
The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor will play a pivotal role in supporting the SEP-Animation Team, Art, and Marketing by crafting and editing engaging video content. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Storytelling & Marketing Content, this role focuses on editing high-quality assets for various internal and external uses, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications. The role requires translating creative ideas/scripts into cohesive visual narratives, ensuring that each video aligns with the artistic vision and meets high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to develop and execute video projects, incorporating feedback to refine content, and communicating project schedules effectively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics; experience with marketing campaigns, entertainment, and animated content.
- Experience with storytelling, and continuity.
- Experience with 2D and 3D Animation production processes.
- Proficiency in editing software, such as Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator; Adobe Animate is a plus.
- Knowledge of audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism and make artistic adjustments.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to quickly learn the brand and develop a deep understanding of the characters and world.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs.
- Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Comfort in asking questions and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- An extensive portfolio with examples of current video editing and motion graphics.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Mass Communications, or a Related Field preferred.
