Job Description

Codingo Singapore is the perfect place for students to expand their portfolio! We are seeking a technically adept ad-hoc Front-End Web Developer to independently design and implement cutting-edge user interfaces. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • UI Development: Design and develop responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Implement interactive components using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • State & Data Management: Integrate state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and consume RESTful APIs to dynamically populate content.
  • Performance & Accessibility: Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
  • Tooling & Workflow: Utilize CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and module bundlers (Webpack, Parcel) to streamline development. Employ version control (Git) and follow agile methodologies for efficient project management.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha to ensure robust application performance.

Technical Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern web development best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors and module bundlers.
  • Experience with state management libraries and RESTful API integration.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO optimization techniques.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and agile development processes.
  • Undergraduate students and fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation are welcome to apply.
