Job title: Freelance Front End/Web Developer

Location: Northampton Studio/Hybrid remote

Engine Creative is looking for a dynamic Front-End/Web Developer who brings enthusiasm, innovation, and a blend of expertise in front-end development. We value a problem-solver who embraces diverse technological challenges. An ideal candidate would have a robust foundation in React and JavaScript, with an interest or experience in real-time 3D coding and spatial technologies. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining responsive web solutions, implementing 3D features, collaborating with designers, supporting back-end development, administering server deployments, managing DNS and hosting, and innovating in AR, VR, and AI spaces.

Requirements

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or comparable hands-on experience.

Experience: A track record of success in Front-End Development with compelling project examples.

Technical Skills:

• Mastery in React and JavaScript is a must.
• WordPress adeptness or a strong willingness to learn.
• Interest or experience in 3D coding, spatial tech, and React Three Fiber is sought after.
• Grasp of PHP and back-end tech fundamentals.
• Proficiency with AWS and similar cloud services, along with hands-on server and DNS management skills.
• Exposure to AR, VR, and AI technologies would set candidates apart.
