Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer to work in Dublin 1, Ireland, on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 50% on-site work. This role will commence in April 2025, subject to onboarding and Garda vetting processes. The position is offered as a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.

Requirements

Experience Level Required:

• 7+ years’ experience as a Web Applications Developer.
• 7+ years’ experience in Typescript, Javascript, Angular, and .NET.

Qualification:

• No specific qualifications are required, but candidates should have a diploma or degree in IT.

Key Deliverables:

• Conduct development activities such as coding, testing, and documentation.
• Deliver technical solutions within agreed timelines, costs, and quality standards.
• Adhere to Central Bank Software Development Lifecycle practices throughout projects.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements at delivery and project levels.
• Liaise with business and IT stakeholders, including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Lead Solution Developer, and Quality Assurance.
• Provide technical advice and guidance in the development of solutions when opportunities arise.

Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Significant experience and knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript.
• Thorough understanding of Angular concepts and proven experience designing and implementing Angular SPA architecture, along with best practices and patterns in Angular application design.
• Strong understanding and recent experience in designing RESTful APIs, and experience in back-end design for Single Page Applications using C# and Microsoft WebAPI.
• Strong understanding of the code release cycle through Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of build and deployment best practices, including package management and testing frameworks for both server-side and client-side applications.
