Job Description:

Metavision is looking for a talented and passionate Mid-Level Roblox/UEFN Game Developer to join their team. The developer will be responsible for creating, developing, and refining gameplay experiences on Roblox and Fortnite. They will collaborate with the Metavision Creative Department to develop R&D and internal projects, implement and optimize game features, provide input on game design, stay updated with the latest developments and best practices, and contribute to Metavision Studio’s best practice, processes, and strategy. The developer will also assist in the creation of documentation related to game design and coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and work with the QA team to identify and fix bugs.

Requirements:

• Foundation and evidence of experience developing games on Roblox/UE5
• Demonstrable proficiency in Lua scripting and Roblox Studio / Verse and UEFN
• Demonstrable experience in shipping at least one game on Roblox/UEFN
• Understanding and awareness of development best practices
• Passion and knowledge of UGC gaming and game design principles

Other Criteria:

• Familiarity with Roblox’s/Fortnite’s monetization tools and strategies is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to grow cross-platform capability

Additional Information:

- The role is a fixed-term contract for 6 months. - The hiring range is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Pro Rata). - The closing date for applications is Tuesday 19th December 2023.
