Job Description

As a content strategist at Dashtoon, you will play a crucial role in driving user acquisition through the creation, management, and execution of an end-to-end content strategy across all social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to understand user personas and the vast library of comics offered by Dashtoon. Leveraging this deep understanding, you will develop a comprehensive content and promotional strategy to acquire users for the Dashtoon app.

Your Part

• Conceptualize Creatives: Think out of the box. Create, manage, and publish relevant high-quality content on social media to drive user acquisition.
• Team Management: Hire and groom writers who can conceptualize creatives and content, and create promos for top comics on Dashtoon.
• Optimization: Format-platform mix for best ROI.
• Strategy: Content Calendar, Social Listening, promo strategy.
• Engagement: Track and evaluate performance numbers. Set measurement parameters to gauge content engagement and optimize creatives and content basis that.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience with a solid understanding of customer journeys, including but not limited to social media and content.
• Creative Experience/Education: Background in communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Advertising Agency or FMCG brand marketing experience.
• Knowledge of media planning, distribution, and measurement.
• Hands-on experience in using social media for brand awareness or user acquisition.
• Owns/Manages a Social Media channel with 10k+ Following.

Selection Process

• 30-40 minute separate interviews with 2-3 team members.
• Evaluation Assignment and/or Live Case Study.
• Interview with an external Subject Matter Expert.

Dashtoon is a seed-funded startup backed by marquee investors and is on a mission to reinvent comics creation and consumption, using generative AI technology. We follow the standard webtoon creation process where we create storyboards from scripts, but we use our in-house generative AI-based tool to help in the coloring process.
