Job Description:
Heaton Group is seeking a creative and versatile middleweight Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team on a temporary contract of at least 6 months. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of design creation and concept development. The role involves managing multiple workloads in a fast-paced environment, including tasks ranging from long-term brand implementation to content and campaign design support.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing and effective designs for various digital and printed materials, such as brochures, e-books, social media assets, website banners, email marketing assets, signage, logos, and promotional materials.
- Conduct quality checks on design materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, making necessary revisions and improvements as needed.
- Prepare files for printing, ensuring proper specifications, resolution, color modes, and file formats are adhered to.
- Oversee the printed production process with print vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a digital library of design assets for easy retrieval and reuse.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, external agencies, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs on time.
- Develop creative concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that align with company goals and target audience.
- Coordinate required agency work and manage allocated budgets.
- Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Provide support and assistance to the marketing team as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of print production processes, specifications, and file preparation.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Degree or diploma in graphic design or related field (desirable).

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
