Job Description:

We’re currently looking for a Content Designer (6-month contract) to join our UX team, working across a number of web, mobile, and customer communications projects. The ideal candidate will write in a simple, clear, and user-friendly way about complex financial products, think about the whole customer journey and how to improve it, take into account a wide range of accessibility needs and make sure our content meets them, bring consistency to our content by applying and updating style guides and standards, collaborate with the UX team and wider product team to shape, define, and improve new and existing journeys, be comfortable working at all stages from creating journeys from scratch to refining mature ones, listen to the data and use it to create content that works for customers, present ideas confidently and with energy to the team and stakeholders at all levels, and be proactive as well as responsive in their approach.

Requirements:

• Experience of creating content for complex financial products (desirable)
• Knowledge of accessibility and readability standards (desirable)
• Solid understanding of using Figma (desirable)
• Experience of planning and conducting content usability testing (desirable)

Additional Information:

Job Type: 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: You can be based anywhere in the UK but will need to be in the Edinburgh office around once a month.

All roles are advertised as open to part-time and job-share.

Closing Date: 6th February
