Job Description

Cloud and Things is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join their team. The designer will work on designing elegant websites and apps for the largest public transportation agency in North America, focusing on over 5 million daily users.

Responsibilities

• Define user personas for user stratification and segmentation.
• Conduct design audits for user experience and accessibility.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, site maps, screen flows, and rapid prototype designs.
• Create critical design elements focused on layout, typography, and semiotics.
• Collaborate with UX Researchers and stakeholders to address challenges and pain points.

Requirements

• Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing websites and mobile applications.
• Certifications in UI/UX Design are preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in typography, graphic design, and semiotics.
• Experience in prototype designs for user testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and react native.
• Portfolio demonstrating design process and finished work.

Additional Information

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Compensation Package: Yearly pay

Experience Level: 5 years - 8 years

Experience: UI: 1 year (Preferred), UX: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
