Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior UI Designer to work with one of Canada’s largest athletic apparel retailers in Vancouver, BC. This is a 6-month contract role with possible extensions. The designer will collaborate with the Create Connections team and a Senior Designer to support the design for the Gated Experiences teams on the company’s main web shop. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into visually appealing and user-friendly designs for the retail web application.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of relevant User Interface Design experience

• Experience or knowledge with high contrast and web accessibility

• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Portfolio showcasing UI Design work (Behance, Dribble, etc)

• Nice to have skills include experience with product review pages or User Generated Content (UGC) and Retail/eCommerce experience

This role requires a strong communicator, presenter, and storyteller who can effectively convey complex ideas. The primary focus will be on the retail web application, ensuring seamless interactions, intuitive navigation, and consistent branding.
