Location: Schofield Barracks, HI

Contract: Full-time

Job Description

The role involves a range of illustrating assignments, including the preparation of view-graphs, wall charts, posters, flyers, brochures, and similar materials. The individual will design layouts and produce graphic designs as per requests from serviced activities, and prepare illustrations for various publications including manuals, pamphlets, and handbooks. Responsibilities include preparing materials for publication, conducting interviews with project proponents, and independently developing illustrations under tight deadlines. The role may also involve acting as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for graphic and production-type contracts, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and keeping records related to the work performed.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of an Accredited Program in Graphic Design, Art, or related field which involves artistic creativity; or
  • Work experience performing the duties described above.
