Job Description

Client is looking for an experienced Video Producer to join the growing Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the video production lifecycle, production workflows, emerging video mediums (short form / vertical), and content editing. The candidate must have the ability to create high-quality videos that engage and inform our audience of technical practitioners and developers.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- 6-8 years’ experience in Video Production.

- Strong writing and creative skills with the ability to research and guide talent to craft engaging scripts on highly technical topics.

- Driving creative and developing strategy for client channels.

- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional projects (DevRel, Marketing, Product, Agency, etc.).

- Experience managing production budgets and leading external agencies.

- BA/BS Degree.

Skills:

- Producing social shorts and social video.

- Content creation.

- Creative strategy.

Responsibilities:

- In-depth understanding of social media platforms (such as Meta, Twitter, and LinkedIn).

- Knowledge of content creation best practices, SEO, and content optimization.

- Sharp eye for detail with the ability to conduct quality checks and monitor work for accuracy.

- Experience working in a results-driven environment with the ability to change priorities quickly with insights analysis on video content performance.

- Comfortable guiding collaboration between producers, content creators, crew, and cross-functional stakeholders while working in a large-scale team environment with global partners.

- Influence and guide the evolution of video production services into a social-first world; developing a center of excellence around short-form vertical social video.

- Develop and drive content strategies across developer-facing client channels, using data-driven decision-making to optimize content and channel health.

- Oversee production in collaboration with agency partners to execute scaled content delivery.

- Develop strong cross-functional relationships across DevRel, Marketing, Product, and within GDS sub-teams.

- Ability to come up with new fresh ideas for channels.
