Wood Mackenzie Creative is a global multi-discipline design team dedicated to delivering a market-leading trusted visual brand through digital, print, and video assets. The team collaborates with various departments to drive revenue generation through sector marketing campaigns, e-commerce, ABM, and events.

We are seeking a passionate video editor and storyteller to join our marketing department, where you will work on multiple projects every week ranging from interviews and promotional videos to motion graphics. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to create concise and engaging video content while adhering to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, adaptable, and a problem solver.

Requirements

You will have:

• Experience in video editing and animation within a similar role
• A degree or equivalent in art/video/digital design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A showreel that demonstrates your experience and ability
• A cover letter explaining your candidacy for the role
• Experience editing short-form content such as interviews, webinars, and product promos
• Experience in 2D animation and motion graphic creation
• A solid understanding of graphic design, composition, and typography
• Highly skilled in Apple’s FCPX ecosystem or Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Sound judgement in sourcing appropriate music for projects
• Experience in transcribing videos and adding captions
• Interest in the latest digital technologies and trends in video post-production

Desirables:

• Experience with DSLR cameras, audio, and lighting equipment
• Experience working with freelancers for video shoots
• Interest in or experience using 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D
